Two attorneys.
One family promise.
EZ DVC was born around a kitchen table, between two attorneys who happen to be longtime friends — and whose families happen to be Disney Vacation Club members.
For years, we watched our families struggle with the same problem. They’d bought into DVC decades ago, raised their kids on it, and now the moment had come to add a spouse, remove an ex after a divorce, or transfer the contract to the next generation. Simple, important moments. But every time they reached out to a real estate attorney, they got the same surprise: a $1,500 retainer, weeks of back-and-forth, and a vague sense that they were paying for hours of work that didn’t need to happen.
One particular weekend, one of us was helping a family member sort through their DVC paperwork after a death in the family. The deed needed to be transferred. The math was simple. The forms were standard. The work was, in the end, a few hours of careful drafting. The bill from a "DVC specialist" came to $1,800.
The realization
That’s when we both said the same thing out loud: this should not be hard, and it should not be expensive.
The actual deed work for a Florida DVC contract is well-defined. The legal description is on file with Orange County. The transfer mechanics are the same whether you bought into Saratoga Springs in 2005 or Riviera in 2022. What you’re really paying a traditional law firm for is overhead — the partner’s hourly rate, the office space, the discovery call, the back-and-forth that exists because hourly billing rewards it.
We thought: what if a DVC owner could just — in fifteen minutes, on their phone, on a Sunday afternoon — tell us what they need, pay a flat fee, and have a Florida-attorney-reviewed deed in their inbox by the end of the week?
Our promise to you: Flat-fee pricing published up front. Florida-licensed attorney review on every deed. Three to five day turnaround. Public records ownership verification included. No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. No phone calls you have to schedule weeks out.
What we built
EZ DVC is a document preparation service, not a law firm. That distinction matters legally and we take it seriously. We don’t give legal advice. We don’t represent you in a dispute. We don’t establish an attorney-client relationship.
What we do is take your information through a careful intake form, verify your current ownership against Orange County public records, prepare a Florida-compliant deed (typically a quit claim deed, sometimes a Lady Bird deed depending on your situation), and route it through a Florida-licensed attorney for review before it lands in your inbox. If you choose our Full Package, we also handle the recording with the county after you sign with a notary.
It’s the same end product a $1,500 traditional firm would deliver. It’s less expensive because we built the workflow specifically for this one thing — DVC deed transfers in Florida — and we don’t bill in six-minute increments.
Why $289, not $1,500
The real cost of preparing a DVC deed is the attorney review — making sure the legal description matches the contract, the granting language is correct, the parties are properly named, and the deed will actually be accepted by the Orange County Comptroller’s office. That part is non-negotiable, and it’s why every deed we send is reviewed by a Florida-licensed attorney before it leaves our system.
What we removed is everything that doesn’t add to the quality of the deed: the discovery call, the conflict check, the engagement letter, the trust accounting, the partner-versus-associate hourly mix. By focusing on one specific document type and standardizing the workflow, we deliver the same end product at a fraction of the cost.
Who EZ DVC is for
If you’re a Florida DVC owner who needs to:
- Add a spouse, adult child, or other family member to your contract
- Remove an ex-spouse after a divorce
- Transfer your interest to a revocable living trust for estate planning
- Update ownership after the death of a co-owner
- Combine multiple ownership changes in a single deed
…then EZ DVC was built for you. We currently serve all Florida DVC resorts: Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, BoardWalk, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge (Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge), Animal Kingdom (Jambo and Kidani), Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian, Riviera, and Grand Floridian.
We don’t currently handle out-of-state DVC contracts (Vero Beach, Hilton Head, Aulani, or Grand Californian) because each requires an attorney licensed in that state — and we’d rather do one thing exceptionally well than ten things adequately.
The promise
Every deed we prepare is reviewed by a Florida-licensed attorney before it’s delivered to you. Every price you see on this site is the price you pay. Every question you ask us gets a real human response, usually the same business day.
We built this because our own families needed it. We made it for yours.
Welcome to EZ DVC.
