This Privacy Policy explains how EZ DVC collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide through our intake form:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number
- DVC contract details: resort, member number, current and new owner names
- Optional uploaded documents: existing deeds, divorce decrees, or related legal documents
- Notes or special instructions you choose to share
Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number; we only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card used.
Automatically collected information:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on site, and click behavior
- Referring URL
2. How we use your information
- To prepare your DVC deed transfer documents and provide you with our services
- To verify ownership against Orange County public records
- To communicate with you about your order, including order confirmations, status updates, and document delivery
- To process payments through Stripe
- To comply with legal obligations, including recordkeeping for tax and regulatory purposes
- To improve our website and services
3. How we share your information
We share your information only with parties necessary to deliver the service you purchased:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Resend — for transactional email delivery (order confirmations, deed delivery)
- Vercel — our hosting and file storage provider
- Airtable — the database where order records are stored
- Cloudflare — for DDoS protection and CDN delivery
- The reviewing Florida-licensed attorney — for the legal review step required before delivery
- The Orange County Comptroller’s Office — if you purchase the Full Package, we submit your signed deed for recording (which becomes a public record by the nature of county filings)
We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not share your information with marketers or data brokers.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for: maintaining your session as you fill out the intake form, remembering your form progress if you navigate away and return, and understanding aggregate site usage so we can improve the service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work correctly without them.
5. Data retention
We retain order records and intake information for at least seven years for tax, regulatory, and quality-assurance purposes. Uploaded documents are retained as long as needed to provide the service plus a reasonable period for our records. You can request deletion of your information at any time, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), encrypted storage of sensitive fields, restricted internal access, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.
7. Your rights
You may:
- Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal recordkeeping requirements)
- Opt out of non-essential email communications

8. Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
Our services are intended for users in the United States. If you access our website from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email if we have your address on file.
